Short version
Clootee is software you download and run yourself. It has no Clootee account, no telemetry and no server of ours in the loop. This policy covers the two things that actually exist: the software on your machine, and this website.
The software
- Your keys and sessions stay local. API keys, engine settings, session history and traces are written to the
data/ folder next to the program, on your own disk. They are never sent to us. - You set the access password. There is no default password. It protects the local web UI; we never receive it.
- Outbound traffic goes where you point it. Clootee talks to the model provider you choose (for example Anthropic, or another provider you configure) and to the download sources needed to install Node, Git or an engine. Those parties' own terms and privacy policies apply to that traffic.
- Nothing is uploaded for analytics. The program does not phone home.
This website
- The site is static. There is no account, no login and no cookie set by us for tracking.
- The download package is served from a content delivery network, which — like any web server — processes your IP address and user agent in order to deliver the file and to keep its logs.
- If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it.
